Police in Fort Collins say they are investigating a pair of suspicious deaths as a possible murder-suicide.

That's according to a post on the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page.

According to the post, police got a call a little after 4 p.m. on Monday, January 29, about a woman being held against her will in the 2900 block of Middlesborough Court. Police soon surrounded the home, but couldn't get a response from anyone inside. They also couldn't hear anything from the home indicating that someone might be in distress. Since they didn't know what was going on inside, the SWAT team was called in, including negotiators.

At that moment police didn't have a legal reason to go inside the home, so they started the process of getting a search warrant. Once they got the warrant, the SWAT team went into the home. They found two dead bodies inside, with a gun nearby. At last report, the next of kin of the victims hadn't been notified and their names had not been released.

The case remains under investigation and police say they aren't releasing any more details for now.
