Benghazi another example of Obama's failed presidency, says gun law expert

While he's often lambasted for his probes of Obama and his minions, Rep. Darrell Issa, Peter King and a handful of others are the reason Americans know anything about what's really happening in the Obama White House, say Republicans.

The startling revelations over the weekend regarding the failure to respond to the attack on the U.S. consulate in Libya has disappointed or angered many Americans especially those working in or affiliated with law enforcement, a gun law expert, who serves on the advisory board of the National Association of Chiefs of Police, said on Sunday.

During the attack on the US consulate in Benghazi, Central Intelligence Agency operatives twice asked for permission to help Ambassador Chris Stevens and his staff, and twice were told to 'stand down' -- while a later request for military backup was denied.

"To the many observers, President Barack Hussein Obama's handling of the crisis in Libya and the jihadist explosion throughout the Middle East and North Africa demonstrates his incompetence in international affairs and shows why American voters on November 6 should dismiss him from the presidency and instead put Romney in the White House," said gun rights expert John M. Snyder.

According to Snyder, there are plenty of other reasons for voters to dump Obama and select his opponent, Romney. Obama has worked to undermine the Second Amendment rights of American citizens. Obama has used the government to tyrannize Catholics and others and force them to act against their religious conscience.

"Obama has wrecked the American economy and left us with of months of high unemployment, growing rates of poverty, and over-regulated businesses as his legacy. It's time to dump Obama and Biden. It's time to replace them with Romney and Ryan," he said.

"The Obama cover-up of the recent events in Libya is the latest reason for voters to reject his bid for reelection and to replace him with Mitt Romney," Snyder stated.

Snyder, who serves on the Advisory Board of the National Association of Chiefs of Police, also said, "It appears [Obama] will do just about anything to save his own political skin, even if that involves activities detrimental to the interests of the United States and government officials."

Snyder noted in his press statement that Law Enforcement Examiner Jim Kouri reported: "With Friday's release of State Department documents regarding diplomats at the Benghazi consulate telling officials in Washington, D.C. about the dangers of a growing Islamist population in that city and the need for more security personnel, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee announced his intention to investigate President Barack Obama and his minions regarding the disturbing facts of the Sept. 11, 2012 terrorist attack."

"Hopefully," said Snyder, "Committee chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) will get right to the bottom of the situation."

Obama's dereliction of duty exposed in Libya, says lawmaker

In spite of the majority of news reporters ignoring or spinning this scandal, Americans are learning that all is not well in the war on terrorism.

Appearing on Sunday's edition of Fox & Friends, Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) blasted President Barack Obama and his administration for playing politics with the terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, that left four Americans, including the U.S. ambassador, dead.

Complaining about the lack of candor emanating from the Obama White House, Kelly said, "I am appalled by the dereliction of duty that’s taken place by this administration. We’ve got to get to the bottom of this and we’ve got to get it fixed.” Kelly, a first-term congressman, serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Rep. Kelly claims that in a May 3, 2012, email, the State Department denied a request by a group of Special Forces assigned to protect the U.S. embassy in Libya to continue their use of a DC- 3 airplane for security operations throughout the country.

The subject line of the email, on which slain Ambassador Chris Stevens was copied, read: “Termination of Tripoli DC-3 Support.”

"Four days later, on May 7, the State Department authorized the U.S. embassy in Vienna to purchase a $108,000 electric vehicle charging station for the embassy motor pool’s new Chevrolet Volts. The purchase was a part of the State Department’s Energy Efficiency Sweep of Europe initiative, which included hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars on green program expenditures at various U.S. Embassies," Kelly stated.

While the embassy in Vienna was going green, the consulate in Benghazi was getting bombed, and little was done to stop it, according to Kelly.

According to Rep. Issa, the Oversight Committee will expand the focus of the investigation of the attack -- that left four men dead, including Amb. Chris Stevens -- to include officials in the Obama White House, as well as the Hillary Clinton-led U.S. State Department.

Following the testimony of State Department staffers about the lack of diplomatic security at the Benghazi consulate, Issa sent President Obama an official letter demanding to know why the administration reduced U.S. security in Libya while the country was still emerging from a civil war. The State Department contracted a small security firm to provide untrained and ill-prepared guards recruited from the Libyan population.

Issa said a witness at the committee's hearing testified that the decision not to call back a 16-person security team over the embassy's objection was made as part of efforts to normalize relations with Libya, despite Democrats' denials.

"Americans … deserve a complete explanation about your administration's decision to accelerate a normalized presence in Libya at what now appears to be at the cost of endangering lives,” Issa wrote. “These critical foreign policy decisions are not made by low- or mid-level career officials — they are typically made through a structured and well-reasoned process that includes the National Security Council at the White House. The ultimate responsibility rests with you as the president of the United States.”

The letter to Obama was accompanied by the release of 116 pages of documents detailing the embassy's requests for more security.

In his letter, Issa respectfully requested that President Obama provide answers to questions about the decision to remove security personnel from Libya, and how deeply the National Security Council was involved. National Security Adviser Thomas Donilon is being touted as a possible Secretary of State in a second Obama administration, but Republicans have alleged that Donilon is the official who leaked classified information regarding a cyberattack on Iran and a foiled plot by al-Qaeda's wing in Yemen to blow up a U.S.-bound flight.

Issa's committee letter to Obama also stated that the White House “has not been straightforward with the American people in the aftermath of the attack. The issue of who knew what and when about the details of the attack has become a central source of partisan sparring on Libya, with the administration saying it simply made intelligence public as it became available."

What has angered many of Obama's critics was his trip campaign trip to Las Vegas in the middle of the Libyan violence against America. Obama supporters claim he was always in touch with his security team.

But former police chief Ronald Miller said, "Whether Obama thought it was a protest, a terrorist
attack or didn't know which, he should have called every intelligence and state department official involved into the oval office and stayed until he learned the facts and had taken action to protect all foreign service personnel."

Suspected Al Shabaab terrorists in Kenya linked to Obama family

Kenyan police officers continued their anti-terrorism operations on Sunday when they killed or arrested suspected members of a Somalia-based Islamist group, one of whom lived in the same western Kenya location as some family members of President Barack Obama who are alleged Muslim Wahhabists, according to sources.

A suspect, Omar Faraj, who was allegedly involved in Wednesday's bombings that killed a police officer and two other suspected members of the Somalia-based al-Qaeda-affiliate, Al Shabaab, was killed by police officers who raided the suspect's home in Mombasa, Kenya, on Sunday morning, an Israeli police and counterterrorism source informed the Law Enforcement Examiner.

The source stated that the 29-year-old Faraj had been kept under close surveillance by a team of detectives from the police department's anti-terrorism bureau in Nairobi. Police were fearful that there would be retaliation from either Somali or Kenyan Muslims who dominate parts of Kenya.

The police also arrested a terrorism suspect in a nearby village on the Kenyan coast and confiscated several firearms and hand-grenades during their search for contraband.

The police identified that suspect as Titus Nyabiswa, 26, who had converted to Islam in the western part of that African country. Surprisingly, members of President Barack Obama's family are Muslims living in western Kenya, but the White House and the Obama national security team have been silent regarding al-Qaeda activity in the president's ancestral home, according to the Law Enforcement Examiner source.

Nyabiswa reportedly possessed several bomb detonators when he was arrested by highway patrol officers manning a police road block and he was handed over to the anti-terrorism police unit.

Police say the suspect and his accomplices were planning to carry out an attack in Kenya's second-largest city of Mombasa that has been the target of several grenade attacks in the past year.

It was considered a major breakthrough in the war against terrorism in Kenya amid reports of planned terror attacks since the liberation of Somalia port of Kismayo by Kenyan Defense Forces (KDF), said the Israeli source who specializes in North African terrorist groups.

It's widely known that hundreds of Kenyan youths and foreigners who had joined Al Shabaab, an ally of al-Qaeda, secretly entered Kenya in order to carryout terrorist attacks on Christian churches and public assembly facilities in Nairobi and Mombasa.

According to best-selling author Ed Klein in a World Net Daily news story, since his inauguration, President Obama’s family in Kenya has been on a mission to use the Obama name to transform Kenya from the nation’s current Christian majority to an Islamic majority that will spread Islamic law, or Shariah, through the country.

Klein's article claims the Kenyan Obama family members are devout fundamentalist Muslims known as Wahhabists, although there are no reports of membership in the al-Qaeda-affiliate Al Shabaab. Wahhabism originated in Saudi Arabia and is considered extremist by many
