This is one of my favorite winter events that we have in Cheyenne, the annual Running of the Santas 0.5k. So, grab your best Santa suit, some buddies, and some Holiday Cheer.

This year's Running of the Santas will take place December 3rd at 1 PM. The starting at 1 PM with registration starting at 12:15. The race itself will kick off at 15th and Bent with the finish line being in front of Accomplice Beer Co.

The event itself is really fun. I mean, you can run the whole 0.5K if you want. Or, you can do what they kind of plan on the event is, and stop by several locations between the start and finish and enjoy a nice libation.

Here are the "aid stations" that they have listed on the Facebook Event.

- Chronicles for “energy” shots
- Freedom’s Edge mid-way point “watering” station
- Kringle Ranch snack station
- The Albany last “watering” station

You'll really appreciate these stops, especially the snacks from the snack station. I do like the "energy shot" from Chronicles. After a short block to Freedom's Edge, you'll be able to get rehydrated, so this just really works out well.

Registration for the event is just 25 bucks and you can register here.

Last year, I was watching football at Accomplice when the race was happening. It was great to see so many people participating and stopping by for a pre-race beverage in full-on Santa gear.

Let's get those Santas up, moving, and grooving. It's the best time of the year.
