Jillian Balow Runs For U.S. House (Interview With Glenn Woods)
Former Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Jillian Balow joined Glenn Woods on Wyoming's morning radio talk show, Wake Up Wyoming, to talk about her candidacy for U.S. House of Representatives for Wyoming.
The conversation began with where in Wyoming she was born and what led her into Wyoming politics. She was a school teacher, so the superintendent position made sense.
After 7 years as our state school Superintendent, she was hired away by the then Republican governor of Virginia to help fix their school. She returned to Wyoming 2 years ago and has been working independently as a consultant for states.
Now, she wants to serve Wyoming as our state representative in Washington DC.
You can hear her interview with Glenn Woods in the audio file below.
Jillian Balow is a fifth-generation Wyomingite, mom, educator, and conservative leader who fights for families, local control, and the Wyoming way of life.
Raised in Gillette, Jillian grew up in a community powered by energy, agriculture, and hard work. From an early age, she saw firsthand how strong schools, good jobs, and responsible resource development create opportunity for families and communities. Those values shaped her lifelong commitment to education, public service, and conservative principles.
She begins this campaign the way she began her campaign for Superintendent, by herself, on the road, driving across the state and meeting people. But the structure is set up for a full campaign, with staff, as we move into this election year.
