The athletes, fans, and coaches for the State Indoor Track meet filled the Campbell County Rec Center in Gillette in March with some fantastic individual performances. In 4A Girls, Taliah Morris of Cheyenne East won 3 events, the 55-meter dash, the 200, and the long jump. Her teammate, Maggie Madsen won the 800-meter run, the 1600, and the 3200. East won the team championship in 4A by 7 points over Laramie with Thunder Basin 3rd.

In 4A Boys, Kaiden Lee of Natrona had a tremendous meet with victories in the high jump, long jump, and triple jump. Tegan Krause of Cheyenne Central captured the 55 and 200-meter dashes. Teamwise, Sheridan took the top of the podium with Central 2nd and Natrona 3rd.

Over in the 3A Girls division, Valerie Jirak from Star Valley won an astounding 4 events; the 55, the 200, the 400 meters, and the long jump. Just an incredible performance. Ada Nelson of Cody won 2 events, the 800 and the 1600 meter runs. Cody took the 3A team championship by a wide margin over Torrington and Evanston.

And in 3A Boys, Reed McFadden from Lander was a triple winner, capturing the 200,400 and 55 hurdles. Star Valley's Habtamu Wetzel won 2 gold medals in the 1600 meter and the 3200.  Cody was the big team winner in 3A boys, in front of Star Valley and Evanston.
