PhotoFest Rewind: Boys State Track & Field

The Boys State Track & Field Meet was extremely competitive in 2024 with countless athletes turning in outstanding performances. There were more than a few athletes that won 2 events and in some cases, 2 events and 1st place finish in a relay. But there were a handful of athletes that took the podium in 3 events, Cokeville's Drake Plowman in the 800, 1600, and 3200-meter runs, Big Horn's Gavin Stafford in the 100, 200, and the long jump along with Reed McFadden of Lander in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and the pole vault.

In the boys' team standings, Burlington won the 1A State Championship, with Cokeville second and Upton third. Big Horn was the 2A State Champs, followed by Lingle-Fort Laramie and Burns. Douglas was first in 3A, with Lovell second and Powell third. Sheridan won the 4A title, followed by Cody and Cheyenne Central.
