PhotoFest! Burns Winter Classic Basketball Tournament

The annual Winter Classic Basketball Tournament kicked off the season in the southeast part of the state with games held in Burn, Pine Bluffs, and a couple in Wheatland. It was a great opportunity to get some game experience after days of practice. It was live and learn for every team in the field.

On the boy's side, Lingle-Fort Laramie has some serious talent and went 4-0 in the tournament with Southeast winning 3 of 4. Wheatland went 2-1, Burns and Pine Bluffs won 2 and lost 2, Big Horn, Tongue River, and Guernsey went 1-2, Cheyenne South was 1-3 with Moorcroft and Mitchell, Nebraska going 0-3.

On the ladies' side, Southeast won all 4 of their games and Wheatland did as well. Pine Bluffs was 3-1, Burns and Tongue River went 2-1 and Lingle-Fort Laramie went 2-2. Big Horn was 1-3 in the tournament, Moorcroft and Guernsey were 1-2, Cheyenne South went 0-4, and Mitchell, Nebraska was 0-3.
