Get Ready For The Laramie Holiday Parade: A Night Of Festive Fun!
The Laramie Holiday Parade will step off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, December 6.
That's according to a news release from Laramie Main Street. According to the release ''The parade will go along 1st and 2nd Streets from Sheridan to University Ave. The theme of the Holiday Parade this year is “Songs of the Season”, so make sure to stop by to witness a bundle of holiday spirit!''
The release quotes Trey Sherwood of Laramie Main Street as saying "This is a special time of year when our community gathers downtown, the heart of Laramie, to make memories with their loved ones. Thank you for supporting our local businesses as part of your holiday traditions!"

Prior to the parade, a train lighting ceremony will be held in Depot Park at 6 p.m. And before that at 5 p.m. 'Laramie Main Street will flourish with holiday events and a cheery atmosphere. Live music and a holiday photo booth will be available for everyone to use! Our friends at the Laramie Soup Kitchen will be providing refreshments during the event and Laramie Main Street will unveil the flurry of support they received with purchased snowflakes.''
Also going on through the end of January, Laramie Main Street is offering the ''Cause a Flurry" snowflake program. The snowflakes come in various sizes and can be purchased at prices of $10, $15, and $25. They will be displayed in the First Street Plaza kiosk from December 2nd through the end of January 2025. Every tax-deductible donation will go toward Laramie Main Street’s projects and events that support the 300+ locally-owned businesses that call downtown home.
