Join The Excitement At Wyoming’s 11th Annual Outdoor Weekend

Wyoming is a dream come true for outdoor lovers. You can find something to hunt or fish, places to hike or camp, and wildlife to view at any time of the year.

You can do all of the above, all in one place on May 16 & 17 at the 11th Annual Wyoming Outdoor Weekend & Expo (WOW) with the Lander Economic Development Association and Wyoming Game and Fish Department. WOW will be held at the Lander Community and Convention Center in Lander.

This two-day event was built to educate, showcase, promote, and inspire conservation for Wyomingites of all ages. Both days are jam-packed with seminars, hands-on activities, contests, vendors, raffles, live music, beer, and food. The best part is that it's free for your entire family to attend.

You can purchase raffle entries for a chance to win a 2025 Commissioners License. There will only be 3,000 tickets sold, and the winner will receive their choice of an Elk, Deer, or Antelope license for ANY hunt area in Wyoming. The entries are now on sale; you can BUY YOURS HERE.

The proceeds from the event and raffle ticket sales will benefit the Wyoming Outdoor Weekend and the Wyoming Game Wardens Association, supporting conservation projects in Wyoming.

FRIDAY, May 16

• 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. - Preregistered school kids will rotate through the learning stations.
• 4:00 p.m. - Open to the public
• 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. - Happy Hour - Free Drinks from Pushroot Brewery and Wind River Brewery, and Free appetizers.
• 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - Live Music
• 8:00 p.m. - Event Closes

SATURDAY, May 17

• 9:00 a.m. - Event Opens
• 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Medicinal Plant Hike 
• 11:00 a.m. - Flycasting demo and hands-on instruction.
• 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Wind River Backcountry Horseman packing demo
• 12:30 p.m. - Turkey calling contest with NWTF
• 2:00 p.m. - Flycasting demo and hands-on instruction.
• 4:00 p.m. - Vendor show closes.
• 5:00 p.m. - Wyoming Wildlife Federation Wild Game Cookoff
• 6:00 p.m. - Rafffle prize winners drawn
• 8:00 p.m. - End of Event.
