Cryptic Dion Dawkins Tweet Is Driving Bills Mafia Crazy
Professional athletes have gotten pretty good at this lately. They send out cryptic tweets that fans know nothing about. They're almost done in code. But it never stops them from trying to decode what they're hinting at. Today, that tweet came from Dion Dawkins.
Dion Dawkins drops cryptic tweet that has fans wondering
Tuesday afternoon, Dion Dawkins tweeted about appreciating things that you have because you never know when they could be gone.
It's not the first time he's messed with the Mafia's mind either. In April he went on a podcast and said that if Miami offered him double the amount he was being paid, he would go to play there in a second, only to retract that statement the next day. While most of us would move for double the pay, it was the fact that he blamed the fans for why he would be willing to go that tore Bills fans up.
Is Dion being traded?
With today's tweet, fans started to lose their minds, begging him to "not do this to them."
Sadly, most fans' first conclusion was that he was being traded. The trade deadline is November 10th, so if the Bills are going to make some moves, now would be the time that they would probably start calling around for them. Would they be willing to trade their starting left tackle, though? It's probably unlikely. It would have to be a huge blockbuster trade for something like that to happen. Brandon Beane has worked hard to have continuity on that offensive line. Losing David Edwards in the offseason was a big enough change. I doubt they're going to want to lose the rest of that left side, unless there's a pretty sweet deal to be made.
Chances are, that tweet is based on something from his personal life, instead of his professional life. But we will have to keep an eye on the insiders for a couple of days to know for sure. Do you think it would be a good idea to trade Dawkins away? If so, what position do you think they would want in return for him?
