Jay McKee and Jason Woolley tweeted love and memories of Jeanneret. So has both Ryan Miller and Danny Briere.

Miller tweeted about Jeanneret's passing.

Briere and the Philadelphia Flyers released a statement about Rick's passing as well. Briere is now the Flyers general manager.

Miller played for the Sabres from 2002-2014. He had his jersey retired in the rafter this past season and is regarded as one of the most beloved players ever for the Sabres.

Briere only played for Buffalo from 2003-2007, but he was here as the co-captain in the most fun two seasons for Sabres fans.

Both Briere and Miller knew how big of an impact Jeanneret had. They were disappointed they couldn't win a Stanley Cup for RJ while he was calling games here.

Jeanneret is the single most influential person in the history of the Sabres. That's a strong statement but he was that important for hockey fans in Buffalo.
