Yesterday, the Buffalo Bills' president of football operations Pete Guelli put up a poll to ask Bills Mafia what color they would like the end zones to be painted. The fans have spoken, and the Bills seem to have listened.

The End Zones Will Be Red For The Bills Home Opener

It's been awhile since we've seen the end zones at the Bills' stadium painted red. But it looks like we won't have to wait too much longer. The Bills announced today that they're going to go with red for the home opener this year.

The red end zones were popular in the 90's when the Bills went to 4 Super Bowls in a row. That's back when they had the red helmets too.

Fans were ecstatic in the comments

Fans seemed to be thrilled with the post from the Bills claiming that they were happy the Bills asked what the fans wanted and then delivered. Some of the comments included:

  • Thank you for giving the people what they want and deserve. - @BillsMafiaBabes
  • That is a win in and of itself. Glad the organization is listening to the fans and laying g out the red carpet, so far this season! Doing it right with a new stadium, new head coach and hopefully a Lomabardi this season! - @USAFMillionaire
  • I used to pray for days like this. - @AaronQuinn716
  • Love You - @DelReid

I'm happy they went with red. Truthfully I would have been fine with either red or blue, but I didn't like the natural grass look with just the letters outlined.

I'll echo what many fans have been saying though. I don't care what the uniforms look like. I don't care what color the end zones are. Just win it all. That's all I care about. Just win.
