As the Republican Party continues to try and redefine itself, one of the changes they are looking at is supporting gay rights. Is this a platform change the party should consider?

There are many Republican leaders who are not excited about the Supreme Court decision legalizing gay marriage and the potential violations of the rights of those in the religious communities.

These decisions can strengthen protections for the LGBT community, while taking away the religious liberties of those in business, churches and those who say that their chosen lifestyle goes against their personal morals and beliefs.

It's been said that one of the changes that the GOP is looking at, is softening their stance for traditional marriage and adopting the go ahead of same sex marriage. Is this a change that Republicans should consider this year?

Please take the poll and tell us how you think about this and feel free to elaborate in the comments section as well.
