I-80 is Open

I-180 and I-80 are open this morning after it was closed for a good portion of Monday afternoon and evening due to a tanker crash at the eastbound I-80 off ramp. The Wyoming Highway Patrol says crews pumped an estimated 34,000 gallons of butane from the rolled over tanker into a second tanker. The patrol says the tractor trailer combination rolled onto its drivers side as the driver attempted a right turn from northbound US 85 onto the eastbound I-80 on-ramp. The tanker driver, Guy Noel from Cheyenne, was treated and released from Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.  The crash remains under investigation at this time.
