Food Safety Course Offered

The Cheyenne-Laramie County Division of Environmental Health is offering a Food Service Managers Certification Course for the ServSafe Program later this month.

Jennifer Escobedo, Environmental Health Specialist with the Cheyenne-Laramie County Health Department, says the course is for anyone interested in food safety, but especially for managers of food-service businesses. She says the course will include a test, and those passing the test will be certified through the ServSafe Program.

The course is scheduled for October 29 and 30th at the health department's 2nd floor conference room. People can register at the department's website. There is a $99 fee for the class.
