It's a long way from Wyoming to Nashville, Tennesee. That's where Shelby Means lives these days, performing with the critically acclaimed folk duo Sally and George. Although she's been all over the world, the Cowboy State will always be home.

Means will return to Wyoming on Sunday when her band Sally and George perform at the Mt. Sinai Synagogue in Cheyenne. The concert will feature two acts, an acoustic set inside the sanctuary, followed by an electric set in the social hall.

Prior to forming Sally and George with her husband, Joel Timmons, the Laramie native was a member of the Grammy-nominated Della Mae. Means and Timmons met at a music festival, fell in love, and formed their own group, named for her grandparents.

Last year, Sally and George released their debut album "Tip My Heart", which was nominated an Independent Music Award. The couple married last August in a ceremony at Curt Gowdy State Park.

Advanced tickets for their Cheyenne concert are available here.
