The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Flash Flood Warning for southwestern Goshen County, north-central Laramie County and southeastern Platte County effective until 4:30 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Goshen County in southeastern Wyoming...
  North central Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming...
  Southeastern Platte County in southeastern Wyoming...

* Until 430 PM MDT.

* At 133 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Chugwater and Slater.

Additional rainfall amounts of an additional two inches of rain
are possible in the warned area.

This includes Interstate 25 in Wyoming between mile markers 31 and
60.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
