The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will accept resident hunting applications for elk, deer and antelope through the end of May. The Game and Fish has been accepting resident applications online since the first of the year, but the month of  May is when the Game and Fish starts accepting paper applications.

Spokesman Al Langston says to reduce the uncertainty of mailed applications getting in on time hunters can apply online.Langston says some areas have changes from previous years.Hunters should carefully examine summary maps to verify season dates and license quotas in effect for 2012.

Big game summary maps for elk, deer, and antelope, listing seasons and quotas for 2012, should be available by May 7th at Game and Fish offices and license selling agents. The application deadline is 5 p.m. on May 31st.
