[/caption]A decision earlier this week by the Cheyenne Historic Preservation Board should pave the way for work to begin on a new cancer center at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, according to spokeswoman Kathy Baker. The board on Tuesday gave the hospital permission to remove or demolish ten homes just north of crmc. The hospital already had permission to demolish four other homes in the area. Baker says officials are hoping to clear the area of the homes in the next 2-3 months. She says construction of the new facility should begin sometime this summer, and  the hospital hopes the center will be operational by late 2013
