Carpenter Woman Gets 58 Months for Trafficking Meth
A 38-year-old Carpenter woman has been sentenced to 58 months in federal prison for trafficking methamphetamine.
According to a booking sheet, Brenda Lee Sutton was arrested on July 3, 2023, following a drug investigation by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.

Agents reportedly made several controlled purchases of controlled substances from Sutton in March and April of 2023, including an April 6 purchase in which they bought approximately 56 grams of methamphetamine from her.

Sutton was indicted and pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine on Dec. 13.
Sutton will be subject to three years of supervised release once she's released from prison.
