Cowboys Continue The Grind of Spring Football Practice
The final third of spring football practice at the University of Wyoming is here, as the Pokes have five sessions left, including the Spring Game on April 27.
Wyoming went through a two-and-a-half hour practice Tuesday in War Memorial Stadium, and have about a two-hour session planned for Thursday.
Cowboys’ head coach Craig Bohl stated in the video above that they’re done with their installation and now comes the review and refinement. He reflected on last Saturday’s scrimmage in Casper after viewing the film. Bohl praised the offensive line and safety positions but said the quarterbacks had some stumbles. The head man for UW also discussed leadership on the team, and some individual players, which included an injury update after Tuesday’s practice.
Wyoming was missing offensive linemen Patrick Arnold and Zach Watts, defensive tackle Javaree Jackson, cornerback Tyler Hall, defensive end Davon Wells-Ross, and receiver Devin Jennings from practice Tuesday. Two players returned to practice after hamstring injuries, receiver Austin Conway and nickel Keyon Blankenbaker, though both were limited in practice.
