For the second consecutive year University of Wyoming Head Football Coach Dave Christensen and his staff will be holding football camps around Wyoming in June.

UW Director of Recruiting Matt Rahl says there are three different camps for different age groups. He says the Kindergarten through 4th grade camps are mostly designed to acquaint younger kids with the basics of the game as well as the ability to enjoy the sport.

He says the camps for 5th through 8th grade students are a bit more advanced, focusing on the fundamentals of the different positions and the skills needed to play those positions. Rahl says the high school age camps get into more skill-specific areas of the sport. He says UW staff will also be evaluating the high-school age players as possible recruits for the Cowboys.  Pre-registration is available online and costs $55.

Scheduled camps include Casper on June 5 (Kindergarten-8th grade), Laramie on June 7 (Kindergarten-8th grade) and 8 (Boys only 9-12th grades), and Cheyenne on June 9 (Kindergarten-12th grade)
