One of the components was online learning for the first quarter of the fall semester, Aug. 24 through Oct. 16.

A couple of lines down was “Fall Sports Season will be cancelled for all grades 5-12.”

St. Stephens lies within Fremont County. According to the Wyoming Department of Health, Fremont County has had 411 confirmed cases, 57 probable cases, and 10 deaths, which is the most in the state, as of Friday. Overall Wyoming has had 26 deaths related to coronavirus and 2,254 confirmed cases with 473 probable.

Wyoming has been dealing with the COVID-19 fallout since mid-March. That led to the cancellation of the 2020 Class 3A & 4A State Basketball Tournament, plus the loss of the entire 2020 Wyoming High School soccer and track & field seasons.

Wyoming Legion Baseball went ahead with its season under strict protocols. They started on May 23 with the first Legion baseball game in the country. The top two levels will have their state tournaments over the next 10 days.
