A 43-year-old Aurora, Colorado man has been sentenced to serve 15 years in federal prison for drug and gun charges, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Wyoming.
Lewaun Christopher Porter was arrested on Feb. 5 after a Wyoming trooper stopped him for an obscured license plate near milepost 1 on Interstate 25 and found felony amounts of methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin as well as a firearm in his SUV.
In May, a grand jury indicted Porter on charges of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin; carrying a firearm during and in relation to a drug trafficking crime; and felon in possession of a firearm.
