A 55-year-old Cheyenne woman was arrested Wednesday morning after rear-ending a patrol car in south Cheyenne.

Wyoming Highway Patrol Sgt. Jeremy Beck says the collision happened at 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of E. Fox Farm Road and Avenue C.

Beck says a trooper was stopped at the intersection waiting to proceed west on E. Fox Farm Road when he was rear-ended by a woman in a 2018 Chrysler.

Beck says the woman was arrested and issued citations for driving while under the influence of alcohol and following too close.

Neither the trooper nor the woman were injured in the collision.
