Cheyenne West Edge Planning Workshop Event This Week Sept 18

There has been much discussion which have led to some decisions for city planners in Cheyenne, concerning the West Edge District. A workshop is scheduled for this week.  The Cheyenne West Edge District planners will have a workshop, at various times on various topics, to get a plan together on what can and should become of the district.

Matt Ashby, Planning Director for the city of Cheyenne, will host various workshop classes on Friday, September 18, 2015 at the Asher Building, located at 500 W 15th Street.

The workshop topics will include, but are not limited to: an introduction to the WestEdge Project, changes in the community, goals of the plan, the elements, design and locations selected for the plan.

A new, outdoor event called Edge Fest will follow the workshops at 6 p.m. at the same place. Talent will include musician Luna Rae, Grace Askew and the group Midas Whale. Food and beverages will be available for purchase as well.
