Cheyenne Residents Can Benefit From Food Pantry For Hunger Action Month
The Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies is sending a semitrailer filled with food to the Capital City. There is nothing more grueling than seeing people going hungry in the land of plenty. Thankfully, we have local folks that are doing something about hunger here in Cheyenne.
This Thursday, September 4, 2014, Needs Inc and The Salvation Army of Cheyenne are organizing a mobile food pantry in Romero Park, located at 1317 Parsley Ave.
Employees from the agencies will bag the food for community member's to pick up. Pick up time will be from 1-4 p.m.
The object of the event is to feed the hungry and to teach the community about food insecurity for Hunger Action Month.
