Cheyenne Police Arrest Suspect in Gun Thefts [UPDATE]

Cheyenne police have arrested a suspect who they believe broke into Marv's Other Place pawn shop on East Lincolnway early Friday morning and took 10-15 handguns as we earlier reported.Sgt. Rob Dafoe says they believe the same man tried to break into a pawn shop on Dell Range as well, but was unable to obtain any more guns. Dafoe says the suspect has been identified as 46 year old Rod Marti.  Dafoe says they have not yet recovered the handguns.  The case is being investigated by the Cheyenne Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
