At approximately 3:19 AM Tuesday October 16th, Cheyenne police were called to 115 North Greeley Highway (The Corner Store) on a reported armed robbery that had just occurred. The store clerk was in the back refrigerated area of the store when he heard someone enter through the front door. Upon walking towards the front of the store he was confronted by a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a cloth mask over the lower part of his face. The man then pointed a black colored hand gun at the clerk and directed him to the cash register at the front of the store. After removing all the money he could get, Laich was commanded to lay on the floor. The suspect left the building in an unknown direction. Laich then called 911.The suspect was described as approximately 5’9” tall and very skinny build. He also had a tattoo between his eyes. The pistol was originally thought to have been a Glock type weapon. Officers viewed the surveillance video which showed the suspect had a medium skin tone and was wearing a light blue and white colored hooded sweatshirt with a logo of a circle with wings attached and the number “3” on the back of the sweatshirt. The suspect also wore a gray colored mask or bandana that covered the lower portion of his face. The suspect was also wearing dark blue colored pants and was holding what could have been a black pistol and did not appear to be wearing any gloves. Upon receiving the description and viewing the video, Officer Zempel obtained a picture of a suspect that matched the physical description. Detectives showed a picture of the suspect contained within a photo line-up and the clerk identified Jordan Robinson as the alleged robber. Robinson was interviewed at the Cheyenne Police Department and subsequently arrested for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. The case continues to be investigated by Cheyenne Police Detectives
