The snowfall from the latest winter storm to hit Wyoming has tapered off, but the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about continuing poor travel conditions for today (Oct. 30) into this evening.

The agency posted this statement at 9:15 this morning:

''Road conditions have been improving slowly, but remain snow-covered in spots. I-25 will be windy is spots also, as you can see the I-25 Bordeaux having blowing snow currently. Expect winds to increase this evening if you are traveling along I-25 North/South tonight. Roads may be slick at times with possible black ice lingering.
