The Cheyenne citywide leaf pickup is scheduled for Saturday, November 21 according to city spokesman Scott Smith.

People who want to have their leaves picked up by the city need to have them bagged and on the front curb by 6:30 a.m. Saturday. Smith says the city landfill no longer accepts grass, leaves or other yard waste, so instead of disposing of them at the landfill they need to be taken to the Compost Facility at 3714 Windmill Road.

Operating hours for the Compost Facility are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The facility is closed on Sunday and Monday during the winter months.
