Cheyenne Holds “How To Use A Roundabout” Workshops
The Cheyenne Metropolitan Planning Organization has announced a series of free workshops on ''How To Use A Roundabout" next week.
MPO Director Tom Mason says that with work on the 19th St/Converse/Pershing roundabout expected to wrap up by the end or November or early December, it seems like a good time to educate motorists who may not be familiar with it.
Mason says some of the workshops will be aimed at senior citizens, since they seem to have generated the most questions to the city about the project. Mason says one emphasis of the workshops will be how to enter and leave the roundabout safely.
The workshop schedule is as follows::
Monday November 18, 1:30 to 5pm -Willow Room, Laramie County Library. (In partnership with AARP, targeted towards senior citizens)
Tuesday November 19, 8am until 11am, Cottonwood Room, Laramie County Library. (In partnership with AARP, targeted towards senior citizens)
Tuesday, November 19th 1:30 to 3pm, Activity Room at Whispering Chase
Tuesday, November 19, 5pm to 6:30 pm. Mary Godfrey Theater, 2706 East Pershing.
