Cheyenne Central High School is on the road against unbeaten Sheridan while the Cheyenne East Thunderbirds host Rock Springs in Wyoming Class 4A high school playoff action this evening.

The Rock Springs Tigers (4-5) will be trying to avenge a 31-6 T-bird win on October 13. The Tigers have a balanced offense featuring both the third-ranked rusher (Mason Randall) and third-ranked passer (Graedyn Buell) in Class 4A this season.

Kickoff is slated for tonight at 6 at Okie Blanchard Stadium.

Cheyenne Central (2-7), meanwhile, has the difficult task of trying to knock off the Sheridan Broncs (9-0) in Sheridan. Sheridan is averaging a little over 46 points and 419 yards to game, both second in Class 4A this season.

Central, meanwhile, is coming off a big 55-6 win against cross-town rival Cheyenne South in what amounted to a play-in game last week.

That game gets underway at 6 p.m. at Homer Scott Field in Sheridan.
