In the 4A semi-finals, Sheridan played host to Cheyenne Central on Friday night. Sheridan came in at 9-1 and Central at 7-3. Sheridan put the pedal to the metal right from the git-go with 3 touchdowns in the opening quarter. Garret Coon had a 4 yard run for a touchdown, quarterback Jacob Boint threw a TD pass to Tony Jacobs that covered 26 yards. And then Coon added a 15-yard run for a TD to make it 21-nil after 1.  Coon scored for the 3rd time in the 2nd quarter to increase the lead to 28 and that was just the beginning. Isak Aksamit added a 1 yard run for a score. Carter McComb had a 57-yard punt return for a touchdown and Coon just for good measure had a 29-yard pick 6. On central’s behalf, Carter Labatos  scored from the doorstep but the Indians were down at halftime 48-7

The teams traded touchdowns in the 4th quarter as Central quarterback Dawson McCleary threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Andrew Johnson. For Sheridan, Tony Jacobs caught his 2nd Td ball of the game,  in the 4th quarter, Johnson caught 2 more touchdown passes from 14 and 19 yards, McCleary added a score and for Sheridan Coon had a 95 yard run from scrimmage and ran from 217 for the game, Sheridan wins it 62-35 and will play Thunder Basin the 4a championship in Laramie on Saturday.
