In 4A action from Friday night, Casper-Kelly Walsh played host to Cheyenne Central. Central has found some traction lately and came into the game at 3-2. KW was looking for that same traction and the Trojans started the night at 1-4.  It was an eventful first quarter with Central opening the scoring as quarterback Dawson McCleary hooked up with Andrew Johnson for 20 yards and a touchdown to put the Indians up 7-0. Kelly Walsh answered right back thanks to Emory Yoosook who reeled off a 64 yard run to the end zone for a  TD to even things at 7. Central responded with 2 touchdowns from Carter Lobatos to lead after one-quarter of play 20-6,

The Trojans found the end zone again in the 2nd quarter as Trenton walker threw to Cameron Burkett on a play that covered 22 yards so just like that it was 20-14. Central came through with a flea-flicker as that started with Dawson McCleary, went through Brady Storebo and finished with Andrew Johnson for 6 yards and a score. The 2 point try was good so it was 28-14 at halftime

In the 2nd half, Kelly Walsh put themselves back in the game thanks to walker tossing a 28-yard pass to Zion Graham which made it 28-21. Cheyenne Central made all the plays they needed to make in the 4th quarter and put 10 points on the board. A field goal and a 3 run yard for a touchdown by McCleary. Cheyenne Central goes on to beat Kelly Walsh 38-21. The Indians are 4-2 with Cheyenne East on the horizon on Friday. KW is 1-5 and will have its annual oil bowl game with Natrona this week.
