A 30-year-old Casper man is facing felony drug charges after a Cheyenne-area trooper reportedly found marijuana and THC wax in his minivan.

Court records say Nathan Bristow was stopped on March 28 after he was clocked doing 92 mph in a 75 mph zone near milepost 15 on Interstate 25.

The traffic stop led to a search of the minivan and a backpack containing 208 grams of suspected raw marijuana and 420 grams of THC wax was found.

Bristow told the trooper that the drugs belonged to him and were intended for his personal use, according to an affidavit.

Bristow was arrested and charged with felony possession of marijuana and THC wax.  If convicted, he could face up to 10 years in prison.

Bristow is currently being held in the Laramie County jail on a $3,500 cash bond.  His preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 5 at 2:30 p.m.
