{BREAKING} Two Killed in Armed Robbery
UPDATE: Police spokesman officer Dan Long says reports that the suspect may have fled to the Cheyenne railyard appear to have been untrue. Long says no photo of the suspect is available, adding the description of the suspect as being a Hispanic male in a dark shirt came from the person who initially reported seeing a suspect matching that description fleeing the Coin Shop.
Cheyenne Police say two people were killed in an armed robbery of "The Coin Shop" at 510 West Lincolnway at around 9:30 Monday morning. Both victims, who have yet to be identified, died of gunshot wounds.
Officer Dan Long says police, along with assistance from the F.B.I., Wyoming Highway Patrol and the Laramie County Sheriff's Department, are searching the Cheyenne rail yards for a Hispanic male wearing a dark colored shirt in connection with the robbery.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police tip line at (307) 637-6510.
