Book Lovers Bash Next Month

The Laramie County Library Foundation's annual Book Lover's Bash next month will feature local author C.J. Box.

Foundation Director Gilda Lara says the event is slated for October 25th at Little America in Cheyenne. She says the event will kick off with a social hour and silent auction, followed by dinner in the Grand Ballroom at 7:30 pm. Lara says that will be followed by a live auction and a presentation by Box highlighting his newest novel "The Highway".

Lara says many people don't realize that while the Laramie County Library is publicly funded, many of it's programs such as the Summer Reading Celebration programs are not. Lara says the ''Book Lovers Bash'' is the foundation's largest annual fundraiser.
