Youth Career Fair Planned for South High School

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services will hold a youth career fair April 18 from 11:15 am until 2 pm at Cheyenne South High School. according to workforce services spokeswoman Andrea Hixon.

She says the event is open to all local youth and will feature representatives of over 100 local employers representing a wide range of occupations. She advises attendees to dress for a job interview and have a resume handy, adding the Cheyenne office of Workforce Services can offer help to those who may need it in those areas.

She also says the local office offers mock job interviews for young people who may want to polish their skills in that area. Workforce Services is partnering with Laramie County School District 1 and Laramie County Community College in offering the career fair.
