Who would have thought, 25 years ago, that we would be stocking cases of bottled water in our basement. Water is supposed to be free, but is there anything special about it?

Bottled water is a $18 billion dollar a year industry in America. Once bottled water company, PepsiCo, is going to clarify that there water is indeed a public water source.
The new labels on their Aquafina bottled water product will state this.

According to the Beverage Marketing Association, almost 50% of all bottled water, that is sold in America, is simply purified tap water. Many consumers are going with a purifier that connects to the tap water spigot in their kitchen.

Tap water is regulated by the EPA in order to make sure that it is safe for consumers to drink. Some even say these regulations on tap water are even more regulated than bottled water.
