Now how in the world does the Laramie County Library work out allowing folks to check out seeds for a garden? Aren't people supposed to return what they check out?

Here is how it works. The Laramie County Seed Library will allow anyone to come in and “borrow” seeds, grow them, and return seeds that are produced in the new crop.

We have easy-to-grow seeds to plant outside that will do well in our climate, so there is a good chance of success.

The Seed Library of Laramie County is a joint project of the Laramie County Library System and the Laramie County Master Gardeners.

For anyone doubting their gardening skills there will be housed at the library in an effort to introduce residents to gardening, and provide education on seed-saving and developing a green thumb.
