Yellowstone National Park spokesman Al Nash says the park would be willing to listen to proposals from wyoming and montana to help plow the roads in the park. Nash says Yellowstone superintendent Dan Wenk has had discussions with state and local officials about the delayed opening of the park and how they might address the issues they raised.Federal budget cuts have postponed the start of spring plowing in Yellowstone. Plowing was supposed to begin March 4th and has been delayed until March 18th. That means park entrances will open one to two weeks later than originally planned in May.The delay worries business owners near Yellowstone who expect to see fewer tourists this spring. Nash says any proposal for help from an outside entity would have to come with a written agreement that would address liability.
