Yellowstone National Park rangers conducted traffic safety checkpoints in the park on June 14, June 29, and June 30, 2014.

Rangers were looking for traffic violations, safety violations, and impaired drivers. According to a news release 328 drivers were contacted with ten people receiving citations and four people arrested for various violations, including driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The checkpoints were conducted with the assistance of the Gallatin County DUI Task Force and local law enforcement agencies.
