Seems like people are always trying to help out our wildlife in Yellowstone National Park. That's what happened when a baby bison was put in a tourists back seat.

Evidently, life got pretty cold out in Yellowstone recently and that's why a couple of tourists decided to put a baby bison in the back seat of their vehicle.

When Rob Heusevelt, a students father accompanying him on a field trip, told the couple to put the bison back, they didn't comply. If you don't know, you could get in big trouble with the park ranger, for having unauthorized wildlife in the back of your vehicle.

According to Mr. Heusevelt, when he told the tourist to put the animal back, he said they sincerely thought they were doing the animal a service, by getting him out of the cold.

This is what happens when city slickers decide to go to Yellowstone National Park and see the need to "help out" wildlife. If they're not doing that, then they try to get great photo ops between black bear and her cubs.

Remember, when you're touring through Yellowstone National Park, don't be a hero and try and "help out" the wildlife. The good Lord has given these animals all they need to survive in the wild.
