The Fox Television Network Program "The X Factor" is holding contestant auditions in Denver on Tuesday, May 14 according to Executive Producer Rob Wade.

He says outside of performing  talent the top attribute judges are looking for in contestants for the program is originality. Wade, says however that doesn't mean prospective contestants should shy away from performing their own versions of well-known songs. Wade says in a day when they are viewing hundreds of auditions, they may only hear 20 or 30 different songs performed.

He says "You need to be fun, you need to be different, you need to think about your song choice, you need to think about how you look. We just want real originality." Information on how the register for the Denver auditions are available on the show's website.
