During the last part of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, Wyoming was a fairly popular spot for crooks and rustlers, including infamous ones.

If you ever visit Kaycee, Wyoming in Johnson County, you might be able to seek out a pretty notable hideout of some historically popular bandits.

It's known among locals as the 'Hole-in-the-Wall Outlaw Hideout and has hidden some of our histories most notable bandits to include Jesse James, Butch Cassidy, and the 'Sundance Kid.'

Folks know where it is, but it can be pretty tough to get there. Even so, it provided cover for many, but towards the beginning of the 20th century, when cattle rustling began to come to end, the hole-in-the-wall is nothing more that a site with many stories to tell.

Today, the Hole-in-the-Wall Outlaw Hideout is located on Willow Creek Ranch, about 40 miles from Kaycee, Wyoming.
