The Wyoming Department of Transportation has closed parts of Interstate 80 and US 30 to high-profile tractor-trailer rigs due to high winds.

Just today, at least five of the big rigs were blown over, and traffic was blocked for a good part of the day.

US 30 is closed to such vehicles between Laramie and Walcott. And the same holds true for I-80 between Cheyenne and Laramie.

Winds of over 60 miles per hour were clocked in the area today.
