Four men, two from Colorado and two from Wyoming set out for one goal, to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a rowboat to raise awareness for their fellow veterans.

These brave veterans teamed up to form the Fight OAR Die team.  They are the first All-American team to row across the Atlantic.  It took them 54 days and 3,000 miles to complete the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge from San Sebastian in La Gomera, the Canary Islands to Nelson's Dockyard English Harbour, Antigua, and Barbuda.  The team was raising awareness for veterans to stop taking their own lives and just live the best life possible.

The two members of the team that was from Wyoming were Christ Kuntz from Powell, Wyoming and Beau Maier from Cody, Wyoming.

"What we're trying to do is bring awareness to other veterans...stop taking your lives and start living them. Everybody has an ocean to cross. I can row across an ocean but maybe you can't, but maybe your ocean to cross is to run a 5k or to find a better job or finish your degree," Kuntz told the Wyoming Public Media.

The Fight OAR Die team is already making plans for next years challenge and accepting recruits.
