A Colorado woman was arrested Saturday after authorities say she led officers on a high-speed chase on Interstate 25 in Converse County.

Kylee Budai, 21, of Fort Collins, was booked on recommended charges of eluding, interference, reckless driving, no proof of liability insurance, failure to maintain a single lane and speeding, according to a news release from the Wyoming Highway Patrol.

Sgt. Kyle McKay says at about 8:40 p.m. Saturday, a state trooper saw a 2013 Volvo S60 passenger car traveling at 98 mph in a 75-mph speed zone on I-25 near Douglas.

The trooper activated his emergency lights in an effort to stop the Volvo, but Budai allegedly accelerated and reached speeds over 100 mph. She continued northbound on the interstate.

The Glenrock Police Department and Converse County Sheriff's Office were notified, and officers set up tire-deflation devices at milepost 160 while also blocking the off-ramp into Glenrock.

All four of Budai's tires were flattened, and the Volvo came to a stop. McKay says Budai was arrested without further incident.
