Wyoming Takes on Texas in Season Opener
The Wyoming Cowboys will head to Austin Saturday for season opener against Texas. The two teams last met in 2010 with Texas winning 34-7. Texas is coming off a down year going 6-6 in the regular season. They beat California in the Holiday Bowl 21-10 though. Wyoming is coming its best season in 15 years at 8-5. the pokes were third in the mountain west with a 5-2 record and capped the season with an appearance in the New Mexico Bowl, where they lost 37-15 to Temple. Texas head coach Mack Brown says Wyoming presents a “great challenge” for the longhorns in their season opener…
