The Wyoming Cowboys will head to Austin Saturday for season opener against Texas. The two teams last met in 2010 with Texas winning 34-7. Texas is coming off a down year going 6-6 in the regular season. They beat California in the Holiday Bowl 21-10 though. Wyoming is coming its best season in 15 years at 8-5. the pokes were third in the mountain west with a 5-2 record and capped the season with an appearance in the New Mexico Bowl, where they lost 37-15 to Temple.  Texas head coach Mack Brown says Wyoming presents a "great challenge"  for the longhorns in their season opener...
